How to manage your money as an entrepreneur

How to manage your money as an entrepreneur

You say you don’t have enough money to fund your business.

But you’re the same one stunting on Instagram in your new clothes.

If you want your business as bad as you say you do, then you have to be willing to shift the needle to make it work.

If you desire your dreams as much as you say you do, so much magic happens when you decide that your dreams are worth moving heaven and earth for!

That might come in the form of picking up more shifts at work, or getting another job, but are you willing to go the extra mile? I hired my second coach recently and in order to make it work, I got two new jobs on top of coaching to pay for it and because I believe that I’m worth the investment.

I’m getting my money up and you should too. Because if you want the financial abundance that you desire, it will take more than just wishing.

  1. Stop thinking about how you can save more and start thinking about how you can make more

You can do all the saving you like but if you don’t invest it (and properly as a matter of fact), it will sit in a savings account with 0.5% interest for a very long time when you could be making your money work for you but educating yourself on where to invest it so that it can grow through compound interest faster. If you want bigger returns, you have to take bigger risks! You could start by investing in your favourite companies that you buy from to make it that much more interesting.

2. You can attract wealth into your life

You don’t get wealth by doing, it is something you attract by being. It’s not all about how hard you work, but also your thoughts and your mindset around money and feeling abundant rather than scarce and as if there is lack in your life. You can transform your mindset through affirmations, but one of the most impactful things I did was get radically grateful for everything I already did have in my life.

If you aren’t grateful for what you have now, how will you be grateful for what you have in the future?

3. Budget like your life depends on it

There is no point making more money if you don’t know how to retain it.

Make a monthly and yearly budget based on your savings goals or how much you would like to make and allocate your income appropriately. But don’t punish yourself! Remember to put some money aside to treat yourself so that you don’t feel guilty when you do spend on yourself.

When you do reach your goals, it will motivate you to continue.

Looking after the money you’ve made is so important in funding your dream and getting to financial independence.

Money management is just one of the topics I will be covering in the G3 programme alongside experts in the field. This is something you don’t want to miss if you want to secure the bag and keep it in 2019.

If you join the G3 programme, you will be joining a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to achieving their goals, building businesses and making their dreams a reality regardless of the season.

In my group coaching program, the G3 programme, I bring together all the resources that I helped me to invest in myself to step into my purpose and balance my business and degree. G3 is all about equipping you to become the person who can create a successful business and get it off the ground in the process so that you can stay focused no matter what the season.

If you are ready to join an impactful community of world-class mentors, motivated students and get 1:1 coaching from me in mastering how I went from 0 business knowledge to 10xing my income in my first two months of business (yup whilst studying), this is for you!

Yours in love and in service
